in the area. Traverse Bay Parasail has been flying in Traverse City for over 9 years! Traverse Bay Parasail has 2 locations in beautiful Traverse City: one at the Holiday Inn West Bay and one at the Sugar Beach and Grand Beach Resorts on East Bay.No previous experience is required to go parasailing. Parasailing is a water-sport that is fun, safe and exciting for the whole family, regardless of age or skills. We can take ages of 1 to 101 Parasailing over Traverse Bay!
We do individual or tandem(doubles) parasailing flights. Tandem parasailing flights are side by side so you can talk to and see each other. Our parasail boat can accommodate up to 6 passengers at a time. With Traverse Bay Parasail, you don't have to worry about taking off from the beach or trying to steer the parasail. We'll do that for you! On our custom made parasail boat you'll get a gentle, dry take off and landing right off of the back platform! You just have to relax and enjoy the view! If you can sit, you can fly! We're also always happy to accomodate people of limited mobility or the physically challenged.
Please keep in mind: Weight limits will vary with wind conditions. A parent or guardian will need to sign for anyone under 18 years old before they go out.
Reservations are advised, although walkups are always welcome.
We take parasail reservations over the phone and in person. A credit card number or cash deposit is required for all reservations. Observers may also come along pending availability although no reservations can be made in advance for non-parasailing observers.
